An inquiry for the masses
Is it ever ok to root against your team in the playoffs?
Take the following scenario. Hershey is up 3-0 on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton BabyPens Oilers. The Bears are up 3-0, and on the verge of sweeping Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for the second year in a row. But if the Bears lose game 4, that means game 5 will be in Hershey on Friday evening, and I will most likely be able to go. So do I pull for my team to lose so I can go to a game on Friday, knowing that even if they lose Wednesdady, they'd have to lose three more in a row to not advance? Or do I just hope they put the Baby Oilers away, and rest up for the next round? This is the question I present to you.
