Scoreboard Picture . . .

Here's the new scoreboard at Verizon Center. She's a beauty, ain't she?

My only real complaint is that the penalties and score and time remaining are above the screen, not below like before, which means I've got to look up a lot further. I imagine I'll get used to it, but as of now I'm not a fan.

Same here. I couldn't get used to looking at the top of the scoreboard to see penalties and time left in a period.

I hope the screen isn't going to be so good that we see the netting all the time; hopefully that was just a focus issue.

I believe the netting was a result of where I was taking the picture from. It was actually in the foreground, not on the monitor itself.

Come on guys!
Brand new beautiful scoreboard and you guys are nit-picking the little stuff. You'll get used to it and then you'll wonder how you got along with out it when you travel to the other teams and watch their old scoreboards.

Good lord, people. It was one game - you'll get used to it. The picture on the monitor is crystal-clear and is worth making the transition alone.

Thanks for posting the pic. I think the board looks great. The fact that the info is at the top of the screen to me is insignificant since it is so much easier to read than before. Of course, I only have the benefit of this pic to refer to. A real fan should be able to keep track of the clock in their head anyway ;)
