Someday You're Gonna Shine

Well, the All-Star game has come and gone, and it had it's usual mix of things one finds at the All-Star game.

  • A whole bunch of hype over some great players that never really do a ton (Ovechkin and Crosby)
  • A goalie who's bad play makes their fans cry (Brodeur)
  • B-level Canadian celebrities (Edge and Chuck Norris)
  • Unheralded youngsters stepping up big (Rick Nash)
  • A veteran showing he's still got it (Joe Sakic)
So for everyone that thought the game wasn't all it was supposed to be, let's step back and admit this is what we ALWAYS get from the All-Star game.

Maybe next year we can get it without Emerick ruining the audio, and without the "rail cam" ruining the sight lines for us.

Chuck Norris? B-list? Are you outta of your mind?

Just remember, when Chuck Norris falls out of a boat, he doesn't get wet. The water gets Chuck Norris.

One and Two in scoring. I guess your tight that isn't really doing a ton is it?

Credibility of this blog is now gone.

I meant that they never did anything in the all-star game.

1 point combined for a pair of players that were treated as royalty all week, combined with nothing in the Skills competition equals a whole lot of nothing.
